Micro Technica® becomes Sales partner of Rexroth Bosch Group   (vom 2010-01-04)
Rexroth – Experts in high-quality deburring
Rexroth's thermal deburring systems help you to quickly, precisely, and reliably deburr a wide variety of workpieces.
Profit from years of experience and know-how to integrate thermal deburring into your production system efficiently and economically.

To attain a competitive level of quality, burrs that develop during machining and other production processes, such as die-casting, must be removed as quickly, precisely, and cost-effectively as possible. Complex workpiece geometries and difficult-to-reach contours require particularly efficient deburring techniques. TEM systems can be operated either as stand-alone units or integrated into automated production
lines.

Reliable, precise, and versatile deburring with TEM
Rexroth's thermal deburring method (TEM) has proved itself to be a reliable process for quickly and efficiently deburring complex, safety-related components. Whether on or in the workpiece – the TEM method removes all existing burrs and residue on the workpiece in just one step, whether they are in inaccessible tapped holes or concealed behind a workpiece edge. The workpiece surface is not affected by this process.

Thermal Deburring / Thermal Energy Machining / TEM Deburring
Advantages at a glance:

Fast
• Cycle time: between 25–45 seconds per machining cycle
• Possible to deburr several workpieces simultaneously (suitable for series production of large quantities)
• Short change-over times for process parameters and fixtures

Economical
• Simple fixtures or workpiece bulk deburring in baskets
• Cost-efficient deburring (on exterior and interior) of complex workpieces with short cycle times
• Method suitable for all workpiece materials
• Ideal for all part geometries

Reliable
• A reliably reproducible and documentable deburring process (suitable for deburring safety-related components)
• Continuous 3-shift operation possible
• Certified TÜV safety

China (Beijing) Abrasive, Grinding Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2008

China (Beijing) Abrasive, Grinding Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2008 was held in the China’s International Exhibition Center in Beijing from 8th May to 10th May. Many companies coming from different countries and districts had their booth in the Expo. Champion Machine Tools Co.,Ltd, being the sole agent of AFM machine of Micro Technical Technologies in China, also took part in the trading show.
During this exhibition, we showed DT200 with cylinder dia.200mm, which enables you to machine internal intersections and surfaces and to deburr previously inaccessible areas. Thus enhancing the performance of the component and its efficiency in operation. Visitors from Aerospace and automobile, even medical machinery companies came to our booth for more understanding on site.

Appointment of John Stackhouse as Director of Overseas Liaison

Appointment of John Stackhouse as Director of Overseas Liaison.

We are pleased to announce that, after an absence from the Fine-Finishing industry for a few years, John is returning and joining the Micro-Technica ®Technologies Team.

For those who do not know he was involved with Deburring & Surface Finishing Technologies for many years with Dynetics, Woburn, Massachusetts, USA who developed the DynaFlow Process and the DynaStream MHC Systems, marketing them with the Chemtool ECD Machines, our principals for almost twelve years.

As a veteran of specialized manufacturing processes, focused on supplying Technology to satisfy automotive and turbine engine manufacturing requirements and over thirty years experience in supplying North American, European and Asian manufacturers we look forward to the new association. John is an active supporter of the “CRM” (Customer Relationship Management) culture, with a focused strategy to “dazzle” customers, from which we should all benefit.

Some highlights from his career at Dynetics are:

* Acquisition of Chemtool, a leader in ECD Systems, which was amalgamated with Dynetics, enabling exposure to Automotive & Industrial applications

* Development of AFM internal surface-finishing of Ultra High Purity Valves and Fittings used in the manufacture of Semiconductor Integrated Circuits, resulting in Dynetics dominance of this industry sector. Many installations in the USA, UK, Japan, Israel and Korea proved this initiative, resulting in significant, high-margin sales of Media and many Turnkey Machine packages

* Developing a new form of Abrasive Flow Machining to post-process EDM’ed Injector Micro-holes in Diesel Fuel-control Systems. “DynaStream” allowed manufacturers to comply with new emission regulations by making Nozzles with predictable flow rates and spray patterns. Stand-alone and fully-automated multi-million dollar installations were supplied; prime users were Caterpillar (USA) and Denso (Japan).

* Led the development of Low-pressure AFM for the first production Blisks, under a US Army-funded program, leading to many sales of Turnkey AFM Systems to a significant number of manufacturers; as the single-source supplier.
